The first Nigeria President in 1979 Alhaji Shehu Shagari is dead the information came this morning as his grandson Bello Shagari comfirmed it in a tweet:
“I regret announcing the death of my grandfather, H.E Alhaji Shehu Shagari, who died right now after brief illness at the National hospital, Abuja”.
He will be buried by 2pm later today at Sokoto State. May Allah Grant him peace (Aljannat Firdausi).
