Few days ago, news emerged of how Instagram founders Chief
Executive Officer Kevin Systrom and Chief Technology Officer Mike
Krieger resigned from Instagram after enduring a turbulent relationship
with Mark Zuckerberg. Now, Instagram has a new boss in person of Adam
Mosseri, who was vice president of product at the Instagram, having
moved over from a VP role managing Facebook’s News Feed and interface
teams in May of this year when CEO Mark Zuckerberg restructured his
entire executive leadership team.
In his acceptance speech, Adam Mosseri said, “I want to thank them for
trusting me to carry forward the values that they have established, I
will do my best to make them, the team and the Instagram community
proud.”
Millions of girls all over the world use Instagram filters over 30 times a day to edit photos but if you ask them who is the founder of Instagram, they don’t know ! We hope that will change very soon, meanwhile Instagram founders shared what they hope for the future of Instagram under its new leader. In a blog post, they said “To us, the most important thing is keeping our community — all of you — front and center in all that Instagram does. We believe that Adam will hold true to these values and that Instagram will continue to thrive.

With Instagram founders gone, staff of Instagram are now afraid of the
future of the company as they feel Instagram will be even more tightly
integrated and controlled by Facebook. They forgot to realize that it
was the huge investment from Zuckerberg that made Instagram grow to over
one billion users, beating SnapChat it’s closest rival.
