After reporting that XXXTentacion was comatose after reportedly being shot in Florida, TMZ has confirmed the tragic news. The rapper has been officially pronounced dead, as confirmed by the Broward Co. Sherriff Department. Though details of his death remain scarce, the reports indicate that he was likely murdered, shot in his car during a potential drive-by.

As of now, TMZ has shared that the shooter were two black males wearing hoodies; one has been said to have worn a red mask. According to a dispatch report, the getaway car was a black Dodge Durango. That’s all we know so far.
