He wants the singer to help use his fame with the youth educate them on the collection of their PVC

Since music star Davido assured his girlfriend, Chioma who is presently the love of his life with a N45 million Porsche on her 23rd birthday, many Nigerians have been on him begging for various forms of assurances.

The Gombe state, Ibrahim Dankwambo has joined the league of Nigerians crying out for Assurance from the OBO singer.

But what he is begging for is quite different from what others are asking for. The politician is neither begging for the assurance of a Porsche ride (as he can afford one easily) nor was he begging for a single to be done for him but rather he is asking Davido to use his influence on Nigerian youths.


Dankwambo is begging the singer to urge every eligible youth to get their permanent voters card (PVC) before the next general election. He made this known in a tweet from his official Twitter handle which he tagged the singer.

He revealed that he is one of the numerous fans of Davido and that he is immensely impressed by his songs. And to show that he does in fact follow trends, the governor ended his tweets with: “Do I have your assurance?”

As soon as the singer read the tweet, he was swift to reply the Gombe state governor. He tweeted that: “Anything to serve my Country and my People Sir”

And the governor responded back showing his appreciation:

Durotoye said he would encourage married women to deny their husbands intimacy unless the husbands have their PVCs.
